Intake Assessment

The first session with Be Well is an intake assessment. This is conducted by our LCSW and is intended to help evaluate the appropriateness of our practice for your needs and get you connected to care more quickly. The LCSW will provide recommendations for other treatment modalities that may compliment your services at Be Well and will work to collaborate, with your permission, with other members of your treatment team (e.g., therapist, primary physician). Typically, this session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.

Psychotherapy

We offer various psychotherapy services including individual, couples, and family therapy. These sessions usually last 60 minutes and, most commonly, are scheduled on a weekly basis.

Unfortunately, at this time, we are no longer accepting patients for psychotherapy.

Pharmacogenomic Testing

Pharmacogenomic testing is a non invasive procedure that can help us establish how a person's DNA can impact the way they respond to and experience psychotropic medication. In many respects, this helps to eliminate some of the trial and error that can go into psychiatric prescribing. For more information on the evidence behind this, please click here

Diagnostic Evaluations

Conducted by an APRN or MD, the psychiatric evaluation expands on the intake assessment with the goal of making a diagnosis and developing an informed treatment plan. As a part of this assessment, there may be a discussion about medication as well as other interventions that can help to promote one's mental wellness. Typically, this session lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.

Bloodwork

Lab monitoring can not only be an essential part of ensuring safe care, but also a useful and thorough tool to better understand other contributing factors to a person's condition.

ADHD Assessments

QbTest is the only FDA-cleared objective test for both the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD for ages 6 through 60 years old. Many insurances will reimburse for this testing and, even when this is not the case, it is typically more cost effective than other forms of psychological testing. Medication Management

Following the diagnostic evaluation and once paired with an APRN or MD, medication management sessions are the subsequent appointments conducted to evaluate your status and the benefit of recommendations thus far. Typically, these sessions are 30 minutes and occur at variable frequency (weekly, monthly, quarterly) based on one's presentation and comfort.

Vital Sign Assessment

We offer vital sign assessments to monitor height, weight, blood pressure, and heart rate when necessary. These are conducted by our registered nurse or providers.
